Long day ...woke on in the Seabreeze Inn on Salt Spring Inn, sleepy ... the sun came out on the last day on the island. I am not sure how to describe my weekend on the island.
We left friday afternoon for some much needed rest and relaxation. The weekend was a mix of emotional roller coaster. I am not sure why this happened if it was just the planets or locals, but we left the island with mixed feelings and kinda disapointted as we did not experience the island get away we had imaged.
Yesterday the rain drizzled and we drove from one end of the island to another to visit the local artisan farms by 3 pm we were kinda exhausted ... and needing a coffee and snack. The locals were kinda friendly depending on who you talked to... most I felt we were in their way.
Sigh..
